TENNESSEE TECH LEGACIES

Think of the person who had the biggest impact on your Tennessee Tech experience. Was it a professor? Advisor? Family member? Friend? If you could thank that person today, what would you say?

Tech lost several members of the Golden Eagle family recently: Angelo Volpe, Leo McGee, Millard Oakley, Sheila Green, Harvey Neufeldt, Calvin Dickinson, Michael “Birdie” Birdwell and Carl Ventrice, just to name a few. These professors, administrators, benefactors and thought leaders helped create the Tech we know today. And while they are no longer with us, their legacies remain.

In remembrance of the Golden Eagles we have lost, and in honor of those who continue to inspire today, we ask you to make a gift to the University Memorial Scholarship.

Your gift can be in honor or memory of anyone you choose. Or, you can simply make a gift to the University Memorial Scholarship without indicating that it’s a memorial or honorary gift. If you choose to make a gift in memory of someone, we will notify their family.

Your support allows future generations of Golden Eagles to experience a university made possible (and wonderful!) by impactful legacies.

WHAT IS GIVING TUESDAY?

Giving Tuesday is an international day of giving celebrated on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving each year. Today, we ask you to make a gift to Tennessee Tech in honor or memory of someone who had an impact on your Tech experience.
